A Cooperative in Bloom

Learn how Mike, owner of Boyert's Greenhouse and Farm, values being part of the Farm Credit Mid-America cooperative.

// Cooperative Stories, Customer Stories

When Mike of North Western Ohio opened Boyert’s Greenhouse and Farm with his wife, Patti, in 1987, they weren’t sure what the future would hold. By focusing on customer service, the quality of their plants and cleanliness of the operation, the business has steadily grown into the successful operation it is today.

As proud customer-owners of Farm Credit Mid-America, Mike and Patti recognize the role the customer-owned cooperative plays in helping their business thrive.

“There are a lot of things I like about being part of a cooperative,” shared Mike. “Farm Credit Mid-America is our cooperative and has found many solutions through the years to make their organization better and turned their ideas into answers for us.”
