Louisville Metro Infosec Sweepstakes Rules

  1. Sponsorship and Eligibility. This contest is sponsored by Farm Credit Mid-America, 12501 Lakefront Place, Louisville, Kentucky 40299. There is no purchase necessary to enter or win. To be eligible to enter and win, individuals must be attending the Louisville Metro Infosec Conference and stop by the Farm Credit Mid America booth. This contest is open to legal residents of the United States who are eighteen (18) years or older at the time of entry; however, the contest is void where otherwise prohibited or restricted by law. Employees of Farm Credit Mid-America, its affiliates, licensees, franchisees, advertising and promotional agencies and the immediate family members of each are not eligible. No purchase necessary to enter or win the contest.
  2. Qualification Period. The qualification period for the contest begins at 8:30 am on October 11, 2024 and ends at 3:45 pm on October 11, 2024 (local conference time zone applies).
  3. Entry Procedures. To enter the contest, you must fill out a paper form and return it to the location designated at that time by Farm Credit Mid-America. Limit one entry per person.
  4. Duties of Participants; Limitation of Liability. By entering, participants agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of Farm Credit Mid-America, which shall be final. All federal, state, and local laws apply. Farm Credit Mid-America and the employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, and representatives of Farm Credit Mid-America, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising, promotion and legal advisors are not responsible for and shall not be liable for:
    • (i) late, lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, or unintelligible entries;
    • (ii) telephone, electronic, hardware, or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties;
    • (iii) errors in transmission;
    • (iv) any condition caused by events beyond the control of Farm Credit Mid-America that may cause the contest to be disrupted or corrupted;
    • (v) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by a prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of a prize, or from participation in the contest; or
    • (vi) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the contest.
  5. Violation of Contest Rules. Farm Credit Mid-America reserves the right to disqualify any participant or winner who, in its sole suspicion, tampers with the entry process, intentionally submits more than the allowed number of entries, violates these rules or the website Terms of Use, or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.
  6. Selection of Winners. Prizes will be awarded based upon a random drawing from all entry forms. Must be present to win. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. One winner will be chosen.
  7. Description of Prizes. Two winners will be chosen. Each contest winner will receive the following prize(s), as determined by Farm Credit Mid-America: One Rural 1st Branded 40 oz Tumbler and one Farm Credit Mid America Backpack Cooler. Prize value is $112.00 each.
  8. Notification of Winners; Substitution of Prizes. Winner(s) will be notified by the end of the qualification period. Farm Credit Mid-America will attempt to re-send said notification via conference announcement at 3:45 pm up to 3 times. If any winner does not respond to the conference announcement notification within a reasonable time (as determined in Farm Credit Mid-America’s sole discretion) of its transmission, or should the notification be returned as undeliverable after 3 attempts, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate will be selected using the judging criteria set forth herein. Winner(s) may not substitute or transfer prizes. Farm Credit Mid-America reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event a prize is unavailable. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. All taxes on prize are winners’ responsibility.

  9. Permissions. Except where prohibited by law, entry constitutes permission to use winners’ names, hometowns and likenesses for online posting, and/or any advertising and publicity without additional compensation. Winner(s) may also be required to sign and return a release of liability, affidavit of eligibility and, where lawful, a publicity consent agreement, as conditions of receiving a prize. Failure to comply with the aforementioned conditions shall be grounds for forfeiture of a prize.
