Farm Credit Mid-America a Kentucky ‘Best Place to Work’ for eighth year

The Association is one of 31 companies recognized in its category – large-sized employer, employing 500 or more, in the 16th Annual Best Places to Work in Kentucky program.

// Company News

The Association is one of 31 companies recognized in its category – large-sized employer, employing 500 or more, in the 16th Annual Best Places to Work in Kentucky program, presented by the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management (KYSHRM) and ClearPath Mutual Insurance Co.

Selection is based on an assessment of the company’s employee policies and procedures and the results of an internal employee survey (only Kentucky employees of Farm Credit Mid-America were surveyed). The competition is a multi-year initiative designed to motivate companies in Kentucky to focus, measure and move their workplace environments toward excellence.

Results of the internal employee survey, administrated by Best Companies Group, will be shared back with the Association to use to identify areas where it is doing well and where it can improve. Numerous studies show a strong correlation between profitability and creating a good place to work.

Final rankings will be announced, and a magazine recognizing the winners and their final rankings will be released for statewide distribution at the awards dinner Thursday, April 23, at the Lexington Convention Center's Heritage Hall.
