Farm Credit Mid-America is pleased to announce the promotion of Seth Wilkerson to regional vice president for northeast Ohio.

In his new role, Wilkerson leads sales team members serving customers in 20 counties from the cooperative’s Mansfield, Wooster, Norwalk, Alliance and Orwell offices. He is passionate about the agricultural industry and the customers his team members serve every day.

“Agriculture is constantly evolving, requiring our customers to swiftly adapt to market changes. We have the privilege of partnering with them in their operations, offering valuable insights, serving as a trusted advisor and providing critical information to support their decision-making process." Wilkerson said. "This industry experiences constant fluctuations, and we are dedicated to ensuring our customers are prepared to meet any challenges they face."

Wilkerson grew up in Wayne County and graduated from The Ohio State University with a major in agribusiness and applied economics. He joined Farm Credit Mid-America shortly after graduation and has worked to help farmers and agricultural producers in northeast Ohio access reliable credit and other financial services for the past 13 years.

“Throughout his time with Farm Credit Mid-America, Seth has shown unwavering passion and commitment to our customers. He is well-qualified to step into this new role,” said Melanie Strait-Bok, senior vice president agricultural lending at Farm Credit Mid-America. “His understanding of the agricultural landscape will help to guide our team members as we help our customers navigate this changing industry.”

Outside of Farm Credit Mid-America, Wilkerson is involved at North Life Baptist Church and Wayne County Farm Bureau. Farmers and producers can connect with Wilkerson and other Farm Credit Mid-America team members by visiting our offices in Mansfield, Wooster, Norwalk, Alliance, and Orwell.
