Fight Hunger, Stock the Trailer

Our Stock the Trailer Program is a unique initiative that brings together junior fairs across Ohio and Indiana in a friendly competition to collect food donations for local food banks.

Trailer filled with food to fight hunger

Through our partnership with local Junior Fairs, Stock the Trailer is an opportunity for youth to get involved and meet the needs of their community by providing much needed food to local food pantries.

Eligibility & Requirements:

  • Open to Junior County Fair Boards
  • Participants must sign and submit the Official Rules and provide a space and trailer(s) for food collection at their county fair.
  • The winning county will receive $5,000. Please see the official rules for additional prize information.

We are empowering the youth on our junior fair boards and they’re going to get creative on how to bring in canned food to the local fair that week of the fair. Then they’re going to take all that food and donate it to their local community.
