Coomer, Gajdzik, Vonderhaar and Neale Elected to Farm Credit Mid-America Board of Directors

Farm Credit Mid-America announced the results of its recent Board of Directors and 2026 Nominating Committee elections. Customer-owners with voting stock elected the following to its Board of Directors:

  • Arkansas/Missouri - Dane Coomer, Piggott, Arkansas; re-elected
  • Kentucky - Amanda Gajdzik, Shelbyville, Kentucky; newly elected
  • Ohio - Rachael Vonderhaar, Camden, Ohio; re-elected
  • Tennessee - Ben Neale, Columbia, Tennessee; newly elected

Coomer is the owner and operator of Dane Coomer Farms and co-owner of Coomer Farms, LLC with operations that include cotton and grains in Piggott, Arkansas. Gajdzik raises corn, soybeans and cattle and owns apple and peach orchards along with an on-farm agritourism market and commercial kitchen in Shelbyville, Kentucky. Vonderhaar owns and operates Vonderhaar Farms, Inc., a diversified farming operation consisting of corn, soybeans and wheat as well as a small commercial cow/calf operation in southwest Ohio. Neale operates an integrated beef cattle business and owns and operates a USDA-inspected processing company in Columbia, Tennessee.

The Board of Directors consists of 15 stockholder-elected positions and two board-appointed outside directors. Together, these directors set policy and provide strategic direction for the cooperative’s leadership. This year’s election filled four board positions for four-year terms representing Arkansas/Missouri, Kentucky, Ohio and Tennessee.

In addition to the Board of Directors, 25 individuals were elected to serve on the 2026 Nominating Committee. The committee is responsible for selecting candidates for the following year’s elections. The elected members are:

Arkansas includes Clay, Craighead, Crittenden, Cross, Desha (northeast of the White River), Greene, Lee, Mississippi, Phillips, Poinsett, and St. Francis counties. Missouri includes Carter, Ripley and Wayne counties. Kentucky excludes Ballard, Calloway, Carlisle, Fulton, Graves, Hickman, Marshall and McCracken counties. Ohio excludes Crawford, Hancock, Lucas, Marion, Ottawa, Sandusky, Seneca, Wood and Wyandot counties. We serve all counties in Indiana and Tennessee.
